Welcome to the MBI- the Mythological Bureau of Investigations. This is not to be confused with the MIB-the Men in Black. Those guys deal with aliens and I hear they are out of this world.

Congratulations, you are officially an agent of the MBI. My name is Daenerys Targaryen and I will be your leading officer during your training. Now, some of our more legendary heroes have moved on from the Bureau and retired. I expect all of you ladies, gentlemen, and creatures to become as epic as they once were. You all came highly recommended by your department heads by our local branches. However, the MBI works on a international level and we deal with the worst of the worst villains. Each and every last one of you were specifically chosen for your courageous character and impressive skill sets, so…. Do. NOT.Disappoint. Me.

The MBI is responsible for making sure the world of mythology and folklore maintains the balance of good and evil. It is your job to protect the mortals from the villainous beings on our Most Wanted list.

The high council has come up with a confidential proposal to rid the world of these vile and dangerous existences by fighting fire with fire. We are keeping this under wraps for the moment for it is a bit controversial. As the new guys, you all get to be the guinea pigs in this experiment.

You see, justice can sometimes have another side. You will be working with individuals wanting to be absolved from their crimes by redeeming themselves in the name of justice. When you are out of training, you will be assigned a unit lead by... [Dramatic Pause]... three villains.

The woman paused for laughter. The room stayed silent. She rolled her eyes and sighed. It was just last week your superiors told you of your promotion and sent you on your way to the capitol. Now it is Day One of your training, and you couldn't be anymore more excited. This was everything you dreamed about since starting out as a novice at The Heroes Acadamy.

She said it in a tone of conviction that sent chills down your spine. The dragon in the corner of the room started to get restless and you began to wonder what you have gotten yourself into. Targeryen. The name sounded very familiar; Then it hit you. She was once a queen that led an army to conquer the seven kingdoms. The world has changed since her reign but it was clear she was definitely still fierce.

The room filled with chaos. Your colleagues were firing all sorts of questions at the small blond woman. You were even swelling with anger. The Mythology Force would have never put up with such a plan. Is it really possible for heroes and their archenemies to work together? Daenerys stood her ground and stayed calm. She had her arms folded across her chest and looked at you through narrow eyes. It was an uproar. The dragon was now front and center and let out a loud growl. Little puffs of smoke came out of his nostrils to warn you of his fiery powers. Everything went still. Daenerys began to explain the situation once more.

If you cannot handle your new responsibilities, please leave and go to room 394. Our head of Witchcraft and Wizardry is perfectly capable of casting a spell to clear your memories and you can go back to your cowardice.

These are not just any villains. These individuals are believed to be victims of circumstance and are being given a chance to earn their freedom. After hundreds of thousands of years being punished for their crimes, it only seems fair. But fear not, it is not like we would ever invite Lucifer to the team; He is just too far gone. However, the beauty of the plan is if things go awry and if they don’t comply with our terms and regulations, we blame them and they will go back to whatever pit we pulled them out of. We will have built-in deniability and the mythical public would be none the wiser.

If they are to complete their missions, they will have the ability to go back to the high council to determine whether or not they have a right to their freedom. If so, we will change their identities and they can go about living their lives. I will now be handing out a set of case files regarding your future officers. We have all heard the whispers and tales of their notoriety. However, in order for this to work, you will need to hear them out and get to know them. The higher ups feel that it is necessary for all of you to speak to each of them during one-on-one sessions in order for them to gain your trust, or at the very least, gain an understanding of why they are the way they are. You are required to complete this task before moving forward in your training.

Author's Note: Hello everyone, thanks so much for reading. The theme I was going for was inspired by the Suicide Squad and added references to Game of Thrones and Harry Potter. Every villain has a story and it deserves to be shared through their point of view. I also wanted to focus on the villains with tragic backgrounds. I liked the idea of them earning their freedom back by doing good. Kind of like restoring the balance of good and evil within themselves. The italicized text represents the thoughts of a new agent and their point of view on what is going on around them.
